Sharing and occupier change
Sharing is a difficult issue as HEL appreciates that sharing assists with the payment of rent. However, as our policy stands presently (the policy is always under review) HEL will not permit: -
- Any form of overcrowding
- Partners with an additional person/s
- Long stay (over two weeks) 'visitors'
- Subletting
- Children in some properties
During a tenancy HEL understands circumstances/relationships may change. If such change involves one person moving out/in legal difficulties can arise if the position is not regularised. You should let HEL know when a change occurs and the tenancy will be corrected as appropriate to the circumstance.
